Producer/Director
Bruce Hamady has produced and directed thousands of broadcast, non-broadcast programs and commercials through his own production companies and corporate work.
At Reuters Television, Production Division, Washington DC, he served several roles including Producer, Director and Production Manager of the Production Division. He directed domestic and international live satellite programming, production managed half hour business shows in 3 markets and created hundreds of interstitials. He was on temporary assignment as Executive Producer of a Reuters produced weekly business show when he left for Oracle Corporation to become Production Manager of a 3 day a week live broadcast. After 7 months, he was promoted to Director, Oracle Worldwide Marketing Video. For 5 years he Executive Produced 20 monthly web programs; event opens and live broadcast programming for 6 live user events and several launches a year worldwide with a staff of 21 producers and technicians.
Through his own production companies, he has continued to produce opens and event videos for corporate internal and external conferences, marking programs for web, webcasts, training programs and customer reference videos. For broadcast he has produced and directed over 500 national spots.
During those years he’s burned down houses, dropped computers out of airplanes, rusted stairwells and watched paint dry, had a motorcycle gang overrun a town, shot planes, trains, boats and automobiles, office furniture, rooms of mirrors and talking heads- what seems like a million talking heads both live and recorded. And lots of computers. His clients have included Dell, EMC, Informatica, Intuit, SAP, Cisco, Autodesk, KPMG, NetApp, Rust-oleum, Harris, AEG Daimler Benz, Johnson and Johnson, Bank of America, Kaiser Permanente and Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield.
He maintains full remote production equipment, graphics and editing facilities.
